GreenRoc’s wholly-owned subsidiary White Eagle Resources Limited (“White Eagle”) is the 100% owner and operator of the Inglefield Multi-Element Project. Inglefield is located in the same region in north-west Greenland as GreenRoc’s Thule Black Sands and Melville Bay Iron projects. The Group therefore benefits from significant logistical benefits and economies of scale during the summer field season.
Extensive historic exploration has reported the presence of cobalt, copper, gold, vanadium and nickel, and the potential for Inglefield to host a range of mineralisation styles, from copper-zinc volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS), porphyry copper and iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) deposits.
Field work in 2018 confirmed copper-gold-silver-molybdenum mineralisation at the Four Finger Lake target over a 500 metre zone. In 2019 White Eagle commissioned an independent geophysical data review which confirmed the IOCG prospectivity of the Four Finger Lake target. IOCG deposits are characterised by having very large tonnages at moderate grades.
